The Sabre Centurion and Contour are two stage positive pressure self contained breathing apparatus which have been designed to provide exceptional levels of performance and comfort and have proven to be extremely reliable even in the most demanding environments. These sets are CE marked to EN136 and EN137.
The equipment uses a lightweight neoprene panoramic vision facemask fitted with an impact resistant polycarbonate visor. The mask has a quick fit socket for the attachment of a compact, lightweight demand valve which incorporates a manually operated bypass valve and a first breath mechanism to activate the air supply.
The Centurion has a body contoured backplate and fully adjustable padded polyester harness making the unit very comfortable to wear even when the largest cylinder weighing approximately 19kg is fitted.
The Centurion can accept several different size cylinders at pressures up to 300 bar. The two most common cylinders are the 140mm diameter 1200 litre cylinder giving approximately 30 minutes total air supply, and the 179mm diameter 1800 litre cylinder with a 45 minute total air supply.
The Centurion Duo can be fitted with 2 No. 9 Litre 300 bar lightweight carbon fibre wrapped composite cylinders to provide a total air supply of 2 hours duration (total weight 24kgs).
