The Sabre Mars is fully portable, easily used automatic oxygen resuscitator which will supply 100% oxygen to a patient for resuscitation whilst also providing oxygen enriched air for oxygen therapy to another patient. The Mars isolates a casualty from the surrounding atmosphere allowing resuscitation to take place in toxic environments.
The automatic control module is easily adjusted to suit the size of the casualty - either child, small adult or large adult and will automatically deliver a measured flow of oxygen at a regulated frequency and pressure. If a patient's airway is blocked or too much oxygen is being administered resulting in a build up of pressure then a warning will sound.
The patient valve which is attached to the ori-nasal facemask has a manual override trigger enabling the operator to perform initial lung saturation and manual resuscitation. When the casualty begins to breathe the patient valve automatically acts as a demand valve giving oxygen as the patient takes each breath. If the patient stops breathing then the control module detects the lack of flow and again switches to automatic mode delivering measured amounts of oxygen at the required cycle.
