BEH airtrollies are a portable system holding breathing air cylinders. These are connected to an integral control panel which supplies air to airline breathing apparatus.
The large airtrolley holds 2 x 11,000 litre capacity cylinders, each cylinder giving a 4½ supply, ie; 9 hours in total. The trolley can be used with other cylinders such as B.O.C. J cylinders where each cylinder would give a 2 hour supply. Air Products L cylinders can also be fitted giving a 4 hour supply per cylinder.
Both trollies utilise the standard control panel with or without the emergency section. This panel is fitted with cylinder contents and line pressure gauges and has pneumatic warning whistles for low cylinder contents and low outlet pressure.
A Diktron audible and visual electronic alarm can be fitted if required.
The control panel used on our large airtrolley is the same as the working supply section of our standard trailer control panel. It has the same features such as cylinder contents and line pressure gauges and warning whistles. Trolley panels have 2 outlets and comply with European Council Directive 89/686/EEC and EN139.
The small airtrolley holds 4 x 1800 litre cylinders giving sufficient air supply for 1 man for 2 hours 20 minutes use. Three of the 4 cylinders supply the working section of the control panel and can be systematically changed whilst the unit is still in use. The fourth cylinder supplies the emergency supply section of the control panel.
